Goddess Provisions Subscription Box Review – June 2017
It’s Goddess Provisions unboxing day! If you’re new to GP, it’s a vegan subscription box founded by the peeps from Vegan Cuts, and it’s probably one of my favorite subby boxes EVAH. I especially love that it’s curated “to have beautiful tools for nourishing your divine feminine and growing your spiritual practice”… mhm, yes, please!
Goddess Provisions delivers a mix of 4-7 full size items in each box, ranging from aromatherapy, apothecary beauty products, superfood snacks, teas, crystals, books and more – vegan & cruelty-free, of course. You can check out all of my previous Goddess Provisions box reviews here.
Cost: $33 per month. You can save a little extra each month if you sign up to be billed every 3, 6 or 12 months instead of monthly. Peep their site to see all the payment options available. Shipping to U.S. is FREE. Canadian shipping is $10 and rest of world is $20.
June’s GP Box theme is “Mother Gaia,” which is all about honoring Mother Earth. ♥
June’s “Mother Gaia” Goddess Provisions box includes:
Golden Earth Chakra Oil, $26 – First off, packaging = DOPE af. Secondly, it smells effing beautiful – we’re talkin’ neroli essential oil infused with citrine (super feminine and floral)! It’s supposed to help you connect with your Solar Plexus chakra for a boost in self trust and confidence. This is the perfect size for stashing in mah purse… so that’s what imma do.
4Ocean Bracelet, $20 – I’m a Pisces, so naturally I love the ocean—despite the fact that I’m deathly afraid of it because I don’t know how to swim and I have a fear of wide open spaces… but I love the ocean in a mama earth reverence kind of way. Anyhoo, this bracelet, which is made from recycled glass and plastic bottles, helps fund the removal trash from the ocean, specifically 1 pound of trash per bracelet purchased. How cool is that?!
Tuore Naturals Conditioning Lip Oil, $6 – I have never heard of or tried a lip oil before, but it makes a lot of sense to me. I slather oil all over my bod, head to toes, so why wouldn’t I do that with my smackers, too? This softening and hydrating lip oil uses a nut-free blend of sunflower and vitamin e oils, along with ylang ylang and sweet orange essential oil – smells and feels like heaven. It’s a pretty dry oil, too, meaning it absorbs super quickly and effortlessly.
Auromere Ayurvedic Vanilla-Neem Soap, $3 – I ♥ Auromere – all of their products are handmade, all-natural, vegan, and they use recyclable packaging to boot! Their lil’ soaps always smell wonderful, and they’re made with Ayurvedic formulas using herbal oils and extracts for “harmony of mind, life, body, and spirit.” This soap features yummy vanilla and wild-crafted neem, specifically formulated for dry and delicate skin.
Shanti Protein Bar, $3 – This is an energy-boosting superfood bar that’s made with 100% raw ingredients and boasts 17 grams of plant-based protein. OOh, and it’s yummy, too. I literally JUST took a bite. It has a bit of a kick to it… looks like it’s made with spicy chocolate, cacao, and maca… YUM! I would definitely buy these at the store.
Urban Moonshine Digestive Bitters, $8 – Ha, bitter is right! This stuff in intense, but I bet it works like a charm (will have to test it out next time I’m feeling bloat-o. 😉 ). So, you’re supposed to spray this formula into your mouth before you eat, to help inspire your body’s own production of digestive juices and enzymes. I’m all about natural remedies and medicine in general, so I’m pretty stoked on this herbal blend. Curious to see what other products they offer, too.
Crystal Heart in Lepidolite, $18 – You can’t tell from this pic, but there are lil’ iridescent shimmery bits speckled throughout this stone. It’s SO pretty and ya gotta love the hart shape, no? Lepidolite supposedly helps promote patience, relaxation, and trust during transitions… sounds pretty fitting for where I am in my life right now. Diggin’ it.
Overall impression: This month’s Goddess Provisions box is perfectly curated! GP always kills it, and literally EVERY single item is a hit. The total value of this box is $84 and faves include the ocean bracelet, lip oil, and Shanti bar. SO much good stuff this month!
